Latest COVID-19 Update

Following the Government announcement that England is entering a period of additional restrictions, our In Steps of Sundew exhibition at The Arches at Fineshade Wood will close from Wednesday 4 November until Wednesday 2 December.

Thank you to all of our visitors who safely enjoyed the exhibition since we reopened in July. As a result we have some exciting news to announce later this month.

Our partners Forestry England continue to maintain our woods and forests so the public can still benefit from improved health and wellbeing from being among the trees whilst taking sensible, personal precautions in line with the current guidance on social distancing and social isolation.

Our forests currently remain open for limited outdoor recreation and exercise. Please consult the latest Forestry England Coronavirus Visitor Guide before you make your visit, and plan ahead in line with the latest Government guidance.

At the time of writing, Grounds Café at Fineshade will continue to operate an on site takeaway service.

In the meantime:

• Our current online programme featuring original artist films, at home creative activities for all ages, our podcast of artist talks, audio essays and sound art, and more is now available here.

• To help protect one another and stay safe if you do need to venture outside your home, we have launched a new series of artist designed face masks. New designs will be added fortnightly.

• For those taking socially distanced walks in the village of Sudborough, we have recently launched The Phone Box Gallery, curated and featuring work by students from The CE Academy working with us during the previous lockdown. We will continue to work with and support these students through the current period of restrictions.

• If you would like to make a donation to help us continue to support life through art, you can do so here.

Thank you all for your support and stay safe.
