Urban Divers was a film created by Japanese artist Tomoko Take, documenting a collaboration between Jason Singh, leading Grime MC’s and students from The CE Academy, drawing out stories, feelings and emotions around the idea of home.
Gesture (2012 to 2014) was a series of events which highlighted the diverse range of activities that take place within The Corby Cube. Virginie Litzler installed photographic work created through photo shoots of local people, “concentrating on how bodies, architecture and air converse”.
In 2012, Owl Project were in residence with Fermynwoods. A collaborative group of artists who work with wood and electronics to fuse sculpture and sound art, creating music making machines and objects which combine pre-steam and digital technology.
Nikki Pugh’s 2012 Traces; Walking and Drawing residency with Fermynwoods coincided with the Corby Walking Festival and explored the landscapes of Fermyn Woods, Corby and surrounding area through the lens of locative (GPS) technology.
