In 2013, artist Sophie Cullinan took words from A Humument, Tom Phillips’ iconic reworked novel, processed them through signage (twice) and returned them to a new, different book form.

Gunpowder, Treason and Plot brought to life the history of Lyveden New Bield using a spectacular combination of large scale projections and lighting, alongside an original soundtrack with live performance.
